Qualigenix manages the revenue cycle for practices across Pennsylvania's five HealthChoices zones and for every payer they bill. A Pennsylvania revenue cycle has more handoffs than most. Medical Assistance eligibility comes from PROMISe, most members belong to a Physical HealthChoices plan with its own authorization rules, behavioral health runs through separate Behavioral HealthChoices plans, Medicare goes to Novitas Solutions, and commercial insurers answer to the Pennsylvania Insurance Department's payment rules. Revenue leaks where those pieces meet: an eligibility check that missed a plan change, an authorization that arrived after the visit, a commercial claim that sat past its payment deadline, or an underpayment nobody compared to the contract. Qualigenix puts one team on all of it, so a problem found in posting goes straight back to the front end that caused it. Pennsylvania practices that need one part of the cycle can start there with medical billing in Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania medical coding services or provider credentialing services in Pennsylvania.
Qualigenix revenue cycle management services connect eight services for Pennsylvania practices: insurance verification, prior authorizations, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, AR recovery and credentialing.
One team handles Medical Assistance, HealthChoices plans, Medicare and commercial payers, works inside your EHR, and charges a percentage of collections.
Qualigenix tracks Pennsylvania revenue loss in five places: front-end eligibility and authorization errors, coding and charge capture, unworked denials, patient collections and contract underpayments. The four stages below show where each one gets caught.
Pennsylvania asks providers to verify Medical Assistance eligibility through its Eligibility Verification System each time a patient is seen. Authorization rules also differ by payer: Medical Assistance and CHIP plans must decide a request within 2 business days of receiving everything they need, while Pennsylvania-regulated commercial insurers have up to 72 hours for urgent requests and 15 days for non-urgent ones. Qualigenix checks eligibility and plan assignment before each visit, submits authorizations early enough to beat each deadline, and tracks every open request through prior authorization follow-up.
Medical Assistance fee-for-service claims must reach the state within 180 days of the date of service. HealthChoices plans and commercial insurers set their own limits by contract, and Medicare Part B claims go to Novitas Solutions under Medicare's one-year limit. Qualigenix stores each payer's limit, ages every claim against it, and resubmits Medical Assistance claims that haven't appeared on a remittance advice within 45 days.
Pennsylvania-licensed insurers and managed care plans must pay clean claims within 45 days of receipt and add interest when they're late. Qualigenix flags every commercial claim that crosses day 45, files status inquiries, and checks the eventual payment for interest. Payments are also posted against expected reimbursement, so a contract underpayment gets caught and appealed during payment posting.
Patients with employer, Pennie or individual coverage in Pennsylvania are protected from surprise bills under the federal No Surprises Act, with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department handling complaints. Qualigenix bills patients only for the cost-sharing on the payer's remittance, prepares good faith estimates for self-pay patients, and doesn't bill Medical Assistance patients for covered services beyond allowed copays.
Qualigenix reports these as company-wide results across client practices, not Pennsylvania-only figures. They match our national RCM page.

Qualigenix takes a Pennsylvania practice live in 6 days on average, in four steps.
We review your billing setup, payer mix, HealthChoices plans and denial trends, then build a plan for where to start.
Our team works inside your existing EMR or EHR and gets access to PROMISe, payer portals and your clearinghouse. We learn your specialty's workflows before touching a claim.
Specialists work verification, coding, claim scrubbing, open denials and posting backlogs, so old problems don't carry into new claims.
Daily work begins under Qualigenix, with monthly reporting by payer and a named account contact.
One team managing the entire cycle, working in any EHR, with monthly reports by payer and fast six-day onboarding.
The same team handles eligibility, coding, claims, posting and appeals. When a denial points to a front-end error, the fix goes to the people who made the check.
Qualigenix works inside your existing system across 133 EMR and EHR platforms. Your staff doesn't switch software or log into a separate portal.
Each month you get collections, denials, days in A/R and aged balances, broken out by Pennsylvania payer. Every number carries its definition.
Most practices go live in 6 days. Backlogs get cleaned up during onboarding, so new claims start clean.

Yes. Qualigenix submits and tracks prior authorizations for Medical Assistance, HealthChoices plans, Medicare Advantage and commercial insurers. We follow up against each payer's decision deadline, including the 2-business-day window that applies to Medical Assistance and CHIP plans once they have all the information.
Medical Assistance claims are checked against eligibility in PROMISe, coded to the state fee schedule and filed within the 180-day window. Medicare claims are built to Novitas Solutions edits and coverage policies. Both are followed up until paid or appealed.
Qualigenix submits claims daily, works every unpaid claim daily and fixes denial root causes upstream. Client practices have seen days in A/R drop from 54 to 36 and A/R over 90 days fall to 38%.
Qualigenix charges a percentage of collections, so our fee tracks what your practice collects. The percentage depends on specialty, volume and which services you need. A revenue cycle specialist can quote after reviewing your current setup.
Onboarding takes 6 days on average, in four steps: an onboarding call, software and portal setup, account clean-up and go-live. Open claims and denials from your current vendor are worked during the switch.
Yes. Qualigenix signs a business associate agreement before any work begins and operates inside your existing EHR, so patient data stays in your system. Access is limited to the team assigned to your account.
