Qualigenix manages the revenue cycle for independent Scottsdale practices across 38+ specialties, inside the EHR you already use. Revenue cycle management from Qualigenix links the front desk to the posted payment. In Scottsdale, about 26% of residents are 65 or older and about 6% of those under 65 are uninsured, according to the Census Bureau, so most revenue cycle work here turns on Medicare rules, commercial plans and self-pay patients rather than Medicaid. Statewide rules are on our page for revenue cycle management services in Arizona. This page covers what Scottsdale practices see most: deciding which payer is primary, Medicare prior authorization, the 2027 Medicare fee schedule, and what self-pay and AHCCCS patients can be billed.
Qualigenix covers eight connected services for Scottsdale practices: insurance verification, prior authorization, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, A/R recovery and credentialing.
One team handles Noridian Medicare, Medicare Advantage, commercial plans, AHCCCS plans and self-pay patients, so a problem caught at intake doesn't turn into a denial later. Pricing is a percentage of collections.
AHCCCS patients make up a smaller share of most Scottsdale practices, but a wrong-plan claim costs the same. Qualigenix confirms the patient's AHCCCS plan for each date of service before the visit, because claims sent to the wrong plan deny.
Scottsdale's AHCCCS members are enrolled in one of Maricopa County's six ACC plans: Arizona Complete Health-Complete Care Plan, Banner-University Family Care, BCBSAZ Health Choice, Mercy Care, Molina Complete Care or UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Starting January 1, 2027, most AHCCCS expansion adults will renew coverage every six months instead of yearly, so coverage can end between visits. Qualigenix rechecks eligibility at every appointment and flags a lapse before the patient is seen.
AHCCCS-registered providers can't bill AHCCCS members for covered services beyond the copays AHCCCS allows. Qualigenix holds statements for those patients and bills only what the rules permit, which protects the practice in a complaint.
AHCCCS filing windows and the claim timelines plans must meet apply across Arizona, so they're covered in Arizona revenue cycle rules for AHCCCS claims.
Noridian Healthcare Solutions processes Arizona's Medicare Part B claims under Jurisdiction F. Since January 15, 2026, selected Traditional Medicare services in Arizona need WISeR prior authorization or face pre-payment review. Medicare Advantage plans and AHCCCS plans must now decide standard prior authorization requests within 7 calendar days and urgent ones within 72 hours, and Qualigenix tracks each request against that deadline. Primary payer order decides who gets the claim first. A patient 65 or older with group coverage through their own or a spouse's current job, at an employer with 20 or more employees, goes to the group plan first and Medicare second. Out-of-state Blue members are billed through BCBSAZ under BlueCard. Arizona-regulated insurers must adjudicate clean claims within 30 days and pay within 30 days after that unless a contract says otherwise. CMS proposed lower 2027 Medicare conversion factors in July 2026, and the final rule sets the rates for January 1, 2027 dates of service. Qualigenix loads the final fee schedule into expected-payment tables before then, so underpayments are measured against the right rate.
Qualigenix reports revenue cycle results the same way for every client. These are company-wide results across client practices, not Scottsdale-only figures.

Qualigenix takes over a Scottsdale practice's revenue cycle in four steps and goes live by day 6.
We review your billing setup, denial trends and payer mix, including how much of your revenue comes from Medicare, commercial plans and self-pay patients.
We set up access inside your current EHR and the payer portals you use, with no software change for your staff.
Open claims, unposted payments and aged A/R are sorted, so nothing from before the handover gets lost.
New claims go out under Qualigenix, and your existing A/R is worked alongside them.
Intake-to-payment execution by one dedicated team operating in your EHR, with transparent payer-level reporting and 6-day average go-live.
The same team handles intake, coding, billing, posting and appeals, so an intake error found in a denial gets fixed at intake.
Qualigenix works in 133 EMR and EHR platforms, and your staff keeps its screens and logins after the switch.
Each month you see collections, denials and days in A/R by payer, so you know whether Noridian, a Medicare Advantage plan or a commercial insurer is slowing payment.
Scottsdale practices go live by day 6 on average, with existing A/R worked in parallel.
Common questions regarding Medicare secondary payer rules, WISeR prior authorization, fee schedules, self-pay billing, and onboarding in Scottsdale.
Qualigenix's RCM service includes insurance verification, prior authorization, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, A/R recovery and credentialing. Scottsdale practices can outsource the full cycle or start with the parts losing the most revenue.
No. Results depend on knowing Noridian's rules, Medicare secondary payer order, Arizona's commercial timelines and the AHCCCS plans in Maricopa County, and on working inside your EHR. Qualigenix manages Scottsdale revenue cycles to those rules and reports by payer.
Qualigenix checks scheduled Traditional Medicare services against Arizona's WISeR list and requests authorization when needed. For Medicare Advantage plans, we track each request against the 7-day standard and 72-hour urgent deadlines.
CMS proposed lower 2027 conversion factors in July 2026, and the final rule sets the rates paid from January 1, 2027. Qualigenix loads the final rates into expected-payment tables so short payments are caught at posting.
Federal rules require a good faith estimate for uninsured and self-pay patients before scheduled care. Qualigenix checks final self-pay balances against the estimate, since a bill $400 or more above it can be disputed.
Qualigenix charges a percentage of collections, so our fee moves with what you collect. The percentage depends on specialty, volume and the services you choose. A revenue cycle specialist can quote after reviewing your numbers.
Yes. Qualigenix signs a Business Associate Agreement with every practice before accessing patient data and limits system access to the team assigned to your account.
