Qualigenix manages the revenue cycle for independent Phoenix practices across 38+ specialties, inside the EHR you already use. Revenue cycle management from Qualigenix connects the front desk to the posted payment, which matters in Phoenix because AHCCCS managed care, Medicare prior authorization and commercial prompt-pay rules all touch the same visit. Statewide rules are on our page for revenue cycle management services in Arizona. This page covers the Maricopa County side: which AHCCCS plan to check, which special programs change the payer, what WISeR adds for Traditional Medicare patients, and what Phoenix patients can and can't be billed.
Qualigenix covers eight connected services for Phoenix practices: insurance verification, prior authorization, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, A/R recovery and credentialing.
One team handles AHCCCS plans, Noridian Medicare, Medicare Advantage and commercial payers, so problems found at the front desk get fixed before they become denials. Pricing is a percentage of collections.
In Phoenix, most revenue cycle problems start with the wrong plan. AHCCCS places most Medicaid members in one of six ACC plans in Maricopa County, and AHCCCS's fee-for-service division denies claims for members enrolled in a plan. Qualigenix starts every account by confirming the plan for each date of service.
Qualigenix checks eligibility through AHCCCS Online or batch 270/271 requests before each visit and records which plan covers the patient: Arizona Complete Health-Complete Care Plan, Banner-University Family Care, BCBSAZ Health Choice, Mercy Care, Molina Complete Care or UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Starting January 1, 2027, most AHCCCS expansion adults will renew coverage every six months instead of once a year, so more Phoenix patients will show up with coverage that ended between visits. We recheck at every appointment, not only at intake.
Some Phoenix patients are billed to a different plan than their ACC choice suggests. Mercy Care runs the ACC-RBHA plan for Maricopa County members with a serious mental illness designation. DDD members get physical and behavioral care through Mercy Care DD or UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, ALTCS members are with Banner-University Family Care, Mercy Care or UnitedHealthcare, and foster children are covered by Mercy Care DCS CHP. Qualigenix routes authorizations and claims to the plan that pays.
AHCCCS filing windows and the claim timelines ACC plans must meet apply across Arizona, so they're covered in Arizona revenue cycle rules for AHCCCS claims. Phoenix practices follow the same statewide limits.
Noridian Healthcare Solutions processes Arizona's Medicare Part B claims under Jurisdiction F. Since January 15, 2026, Arizona has been a WISeR state, where selected Traditional Medicare services need prior authorization through Zyter TruCare or go to pre-payment review. Medicare Advantage plans and AHCCCS plans must now decide standard prior authorization requests within 7 calendar days and urgent ones within 72 hours, and Qualigenix tracks each request against its deadline. Commercial insurers regulated by Arizona must adjudicate a clean claim within 30 days and pay the approved amount within 30 days after that unless a contract says otherwise. For patient balances, AHCCCS-registered providers can't bill AHCCCS members for covered services beyond allowed copays, so Qualigenix holds statements for those patients and bills only what the rules allow.
Qualigenix reports revenue cycle results the same way for every client. These are company-wide results across client practices, not Phoenix-only figures.

Qualigenix takes over a Phoenix practice's revenue cycle in four steps and goes live by day 6.
We review your billing setup, payer mix and denial trends, including which AHCCCS plans send most of your claims.
We set up access inside your existing EHR and the payer portals you use, with no software change for your staff.
Open claims, unposted payments and stale A/R are sorted so nothing old gets lost in the handover.
New claims go out under Qualigenix, and existing A/R is worked alongside them.
One connected team running eligibility through A/R inside your current EHR, delivering transparent reporting and faster collections across Maricopa County.
The same team checks eligibility, codes, bills, posts and appeals, so a front-desk error found in a denial gets fixed at the front desk.
Qualigenix works in 133 EMR and EHR platforms, so your staff keeps its screens and logins after the switch.
Each month you see collections, denials and days in A/R by payer, so you know whether Mercy Care, Noridian or a commercial plan is slowing payments.
Phoenix practices go live by day 6 on average, with existing A/R worked in parallel.
Common questions regarding AHCCCS plan coverage, WISeR Medicare prior authorizations, A/R recovery timelines, and pricing in Phoenix.
Qualigenix's RCM service includes insurance verification, prior authorization, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, A/R recovery and credentialing. Phoenix practices can outsource the full cycle or start with the parts causing the most lost revenue.
Yes. Qualigenix requests and tracks prior authorizations for AHCCCS plans, Medicare Advantage plans, commercial insurers and WISeR services in Traditional Medicare. Each request is tracked against the payer's decision deadline.
Starting January 1, 2027, most AHCCCS expansion adults will renew every six months, so more patients may lose coverage between visits. Qualigenix rechecks eligibility at every appointment and flags lapsed coverage before the visit.
Qualigenix cuts A/R days by catching eligibility and authorization problems before the visit, scrubbing claims by payer and following up on unpaid claims daily. Across client practices, days in A/R dropped from 54 to 36.
No. Results depend on knowing Maricopa County's AHCCCS plans, Noridian's rules and Arizona's commercial timelines, and on working inside your EHR. Qualigenix manages Phoenix revenue cycles to those rules and reports results by payer.
Qualigenix charges a percentage of collections, so our fee moves with what you collect. The percentage depends on specialty, volume and which services you choose. A revenue cycle specialist can quote after reviewing your numbers.
Yes. Qualigenix signs a Business Associate Agreement with every practice before accessing patient data and limits system access to the team assigned to your account.
