Qualigenix credentials physicians, allied health professionals and groups with Michigan Medicaid, the Medicaid Health Plans, Medicare and commercial payers. We build the applications, track every payer and follow up until each one reaches a decision.

Qualigenix credentialing services start with one data collection and turn it into every application a Michigan provider needs. That matters here because Michigan has no single credentialing step for Medicaid: a provider enrolls in CHAMPS with MDHHS, then credentials separately with each Medicaid Health Plan they want to join. On top of Medicaid, a Michigan practice usually needs Medicare enrollment with WPS, a current CAQH ProView profile for commercial plans, and active state licenses through the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). Two recent changes add to that list. MI Coordinated Health, Michigan's integrated Medicare-Medicaid plan for full dual-eligible adults, replaced MI Health Link on January 1, 2026 in select counties and is set to expand statewide in 2027, so practices that see dual-eligible patients may need to join new plan networks. And the current Medicaid Health Plan contracts, which took effect October 1, 2024, kept the same nine plans but changed some of their service areas, so a provider's participation in one region doesn't carry over to another. Enrollment feeds billing. Once a provider is approved, our medical billing services in Michigan can start claims the same day, and practices that want front-end, coding and A/R work too can add revenue cycle management under the same team.
Qualigenix handles group and individual credentialing, CHAMPS Medicaid enrollment and revalidation, Medicaid Health Plan credentialing, Medicare enrollment through PECOS, CAQH ProView upkeep, demographic updates, new locations and re-credentialing for Michigan providers.
Each payer application costs $99, and we report status for every payer.
Michigan credentialing stalls in four places: CHAMPS enrollment and revalidation, Medicare enrollment, commercial and Medicaid Health Plan credentialing, and license verification. Qualigenix works each one on its own timeline.
Every provider who serves Michigan Medicaid patients, including providers in Medicaid Health Plan networks, must be screened and enrolled in CHAMPS, MDHHS's online enrollment and billing system. Providers revalidate at least every five years and get a 90-day window to finish, with a reminder letter 30 days before it closes. Enrollments not revalidated in time are closed. MDHHS mails the first notice to the correspondence address on file in CHAMPS, so an old address can mean a missed window. Qualigenix files new CHAMPS enrollments, keeps the correspondence address current, tracks each revalidation window and completes it early, so claims don't stop.
Michigan providers enroll in Medicare through PECOS, with applications processed by WPS, the Jurisdiction 8 contractor for Michigan and Indiana. Qualigenix prepares the PECOS application, reassigns benefits to the group, sets up EFT and tracks the WPS file until approval, then manages Medicare revalidation on its cycle.
Each of Michigan's nine Medicaid Health Plans credentials providers separately, and commercial plans add their own applications. Most use CAQH ProView data, which must be re-attested every 120 days. Qualigenix keeps your CAQH profile on a 90-day cadence, submits each plan application, and follows up weekly or biweekly until the plan decides.
Michigan physicians are licensed by LARA's Bureau of Professional Licensing under the Board of Medicine or the Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Prescribers also need a Michigan controlled substance license, which runs on the same cycle as the professional license, plus DEA registration. Qualigenix verifies each license and tracks expiration dates so no application goes out with a lapsed credential.
These figures are company-wide results across Qualigenix client practices, not Michigan-only numbers. Payers make the final credentialing decision.

Qualigenix credentials Michigan providers in five steps.
We gather licenses, DEA and Michigan controlled substance registrations, board certifications, work history, malpractice coverage and practice details in one pass.
Every credential is checked at the primary source to NCQA and CMS standards before any application is filed.
We build or update the provider's CAQH ProView profile and attest it, then keep it on a 90-day cadence.
CHAMPS, PECOS, Medicaid Health Plan and commercial applications go out at $99 per payer application, with contracts and network participation tracked.
We follow up with each payer, report status per payer and schedule re-credentialing and revalidation dates.
Flat $99 per payer application pricing, dedicated single-specialist ownership, complete per-payer tracking, and seamless integration with medical billing.
Each payer application is $99, so you know the cost before we start.
Each account gets one credentialing specialist who knows your providers and your Michigan payers.
You see where each application stands with each payer, not a single blended status.
Credentialing and billing sit in one company, so approved providers start billing without a hand-off.
