Qualigenix credentialing services support independent Arizona practices adding a new physician, opening a location, joining AHCCCS health plans or fixing enrollments that have lapsed. Arizona credentialing runs on three separate tracks. AHCCCS registration happens in its own enrollment portal. Each AHCCCS health plan then credentials the provider separately. Medicare and commercial payers each run their own process on top of that. One Qualigenix credentialing specialist manages all of those tracks for your account. Because Qualigenix also runs medical billing, credentialing dates feed straight into the claim system: no claim goes to a payer before the provider's enrollment with that payer is active, which keeps new providers from building a pile of denied claims in their first months.
Qualigenix handles AHCCCS enrollment and revalidation, credentialing with AHCCCS health plans through the Arizona Association of Health Plans process, Medicare enrollment through PECOS with Noridian, and commercial payer credentialing with CAQH ProView kept current. We submit, track and follow up on every application.
Payers make the final decision. Pricing is $99 per payer application.
Qualigenix's credentialing team handles eight services for Arizona providers and groups. Each is priced per payer application, and status for every payer is reported to you as it changes.
Every provider who bills AHCCCS registers through the AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Portal, called APEP, and some provider types also complete fingerprint-based background checks. AHCCCS requires revalidation every four years, and a provider who misses the 90-day window after AHCCCS sends notice is terminated from the program. An AHCCCS ID alone doesn't make a provider in-network with any health plan. Qualigenix files APEP applications, tracks every revalidation date and runs plan credentialing at the same time, since plans can credential while AHCCCS enrollment is pending.
Medicare enrollment for Arizona providers goes through PECOS and is processed by Noridian Healthcare Solutions, the Jurisdiction F contractor. Qualigenix prepares and submits initial applications, reassignments to your group, practice location additions and revalidations in PECOS, and checks status with Noridian until the enrollment is approved. We also handle Medicare benefit assignment paperwork so payments go to the correct entity.
Since April 1, 2026, Arizona's state-regulated insurers must acknowledge a credentialing application within seven calendar days, say whether it's complete and list every missing item. Once an application is complete, the insurer has 60 days to finish credentialing and 30 days to load the provider into its billing system. Qualigenix submits complete applications the first time, with your CAQH ProView profile current and authorized, and logs each insurer's acknowledgment date. Under the same rules, services delivered after the insurer confirms a complete application can be paid in-network once the contract is signed.
Arizona licenses physicians through the Arizona Medical Board and osteopathic physicians through the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners in Medicine and Surgery, with separate boards for nurses, physician assistants and other professionals. Qualigenix collects licenses, DEA registrations, board certifications and malpractice coverage, and verifies them at the primary source to NCQA and CMS standards before any application is filed.
The figures below come from Qualigenix's credentialing work across client practices, not Arizona-only data. Payers make every approval decision, and Qualigenix works within their timelines while following up on each file.

Qualigenix follows the same eight steps for every Arizona provider, from the first document request to the final payer report.
We gather licenses, education, work history, DEA, board certification, malpractice coverage, and NPI details in one secure intake.
Every credential is verified with its issuing source to NCQA and CMS standards before any application goes out.
We build or update your CAQH ProView profile, attest it, and authorize each payer to view it.
APEP, PECOS, AzAHP, and commercial applications are submitted completely with all required documentation attached.
We track each payer's contract offer, review effective dates, and confirm network participation once executed.
Our specialist checks each pending application weekly or biweekly and responds to payer requests the day they arrive.
Revalidation, re-credentialing, and CAQH re-attestation dates are placed on a tracked calendar for every provider.
You see where each application stands with each payer, updated continuously as files move forward.
From predictable per-application pricing to dedicated account management, we streamline payer enrollment so your providers get credentialed and paid without delays.
Credentialing costs $99 per payer application, covering full provider credentialing and payer enrollment. You know the exact cost before work begins.
A single credentialing specialist handles every Arizona provider and payer on your account, giving you one accountable contact for all files.
Receive detailed status reports for every provider across APEP, PECOS, AHCCCS plans, and commercial insurers as applications advance.
Because Qualigenix also provides medical billing, active credentialing dates link directly to claims, holding claims until enrollment is verified active.
Common questions regarding AHCCCS registration, PECOS processing with Noridian, CAQH profiles, and approval timelines in Arizona.
Qualigenix is a US credentialing company serving providers in Arizona and 47 other states. We handle AHCCCS enrollment, AHCCCS health plan credentialing, Medicare enrollment and commercial payer applications for 38+ specialties. Ask any credentialing vendor how they report status and handle revalidations.
We register each provider in the AHCCCS Provider Enrollment Portal, complete any required background check steps and track the application to approval. We then credential the provider with each AHCCCS health plan, since an AHCCCS ID alone doesn't make a provider in-network with a plan.
Yes. Qualigenix files initial Medicare enrollments, reassignments, location changes and revalidations in PECOS. For Arizona providers, Noridian Healthcare Solutions processes these applications as the Jurisdiction F contractor, and we follow up with Noridian until each one is approved.
Yes. Qualigenix builds and updates CAQH ProView profiles, authorizes payers to view them and re-attests on a 90-day cadence, ahead of the 120-day requirement. Arizona's AHCCCS health plans and most commercial insurers pull credentialing data from CAQH.
Qualigenix works within a 45-90 day payer approval window and follows up weekly or biweekly until approval. Arizona's state-regulated insurers have 60 days to finish credentialing after a complete application, while AHCCCS and Medicare set their own processing times. Payers make the final decision.
Qualigenix charges $99 per payer application, covering full provider credentialing and payer enrollment with that payer. A provider joining AHCCCS, Medicare and three commercial plans would need five applications. A credentialing specialist can confirm the payer list for your practice.
Yes. Qualigenix tracks AHCCCS revalidation every four years, the three-year re-credentialing cycle used by AHCCCS health plans, Medicare revalidation and commercial re-credentialing, and files each one before its deadline so providers stay enrolled.
Your Qualigenix specialist contacts the payer, finds the missing item or open question, supplies it and logs the date. For Arizona's state-regulated insurers, we also check that acknowledgment and completeness notices arrived on time.
