Qualigenix delivers end-to-end revenue cycle management to independent practices across Los Angeles County, using the same team that runs our revenue cycle management services in California. Revenue problems in L.A. rarely start at the claim. They start at the front desk, when a Medi-Cal patient's plan partner changed last month or an authorization was never requested. So we start there. Qualigenix checks coverage before the visit, tracks authorizations, builds and sends the claim, posts the payment and chases what's unpaid. Because one team sees every step, a denial at the back end gets fixed at the front end where it began.
Qualigenix runs eight connected services for Los Angeles practices: insurance verification, prior authorization, medical coding, medical billing, payment posting, denial management, A/R recovery and credentialing.
One team owns each step for all payers, from Medi-Cal managed care plans to Medicare and commercial insurers, and we charge a percentage of collections.
Qualigenix routes eligibility checks, authorizations and claims to the Medi-Cal plan that actually covers each patient. DHCS lists four Medi-Cal managed care plans in Los Angeles County for 2026: L.A. Care Health Plan, Health Net Community Solutions, Kaiser Permanente and SCAN Connections. That's four plans before plan partners, Medi-Medi plans and commercial insurers. A Los Angeles practice can easily have twenty or more payers to check, authorize, bill and follow up. Qualigenix sets each one up in your workflow with its portal, payer ID and authorization rules, so the right step happens for the right plan.
L.A. Care members can be assigned to Anthem Blue Cross or Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan, and Health Net subcontracts part of its membership to Molina Healthcare. Each plan partner has its own portal, authorization list and payer ID. Before each visit, Qualigenix confirms the patient's assigned plan and benefits. If the service needs approval from that plan, our prior authorization team requests it and logs the approval number to the visit. Your front desk gets a clear answer: covered, needs authorization or needs a new plan on file.
Once the visit is coded, Qualigenix sends the claim to the right plan and posts the payment when the remittance arrives. Each L.A. County plan, plus AIDS Healthcare Foundation's Positive Healthcare, which the county lists among its Medi-Cal plans, is tracked as its own payer. You see which plan pays slowly, which denies most and which pays below the expected rate.
Medi-Cal filing windows, California prompt-pay timelines and balance-billing protections apply statewide, so Qualigenix follows one process for them across California. Read how we work those rules on our California revenue cycle rules page.
Qualigenix reports results across all clients. These are company-wide figures, not Los Angeles-only numbers.
