Qualigenix credentialing services cover individual providers, new groups and added locations in Cincinnati. Statewide enrollment and licensing rules are on our credentialing services in Ohio page. Cincinnati credentialing has a two-step shape for Medicaid. The state credentials the provider once, then each Hamilton County plan contracts separately. Medicare enrollment runs through PECOS with CGS, and commercial carriers such as Anthem, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Aetna and Cigna credential from CAQH data. Qualigenix keeps one file per provider and pushes the same verified data to every payer, so a new hire's start date isn't held up by one missing form.
Qualigenix handles credentialing for Cincinnati providers and groups: Ohio Medicaid enrollment and state credentialing in the PNM system, contracts with Hamilton County's Medicaid and MyCare plans, Medicare enrollment through PECOS, CAQH profiles, commercial applications, revalidation and re-credentialing.
You pay $99 per payer application. Payers make the final decision; we submit, track and follow up until they do.
Qualigenix credentials Cincinnati providers with Ohio Medicaid first, then contracts them with each Hamilton County plan they want to join.
Ohio Medicaid credentials providers centrally through its Provider Network Management (PNM) module, with Maximus, an NCQA-accredited verification organization, checking credentials for the state. A provider completes state credentialing once instead of once per plan. Since June 2026, Ohio Medicaid has required every provider who treats managed care members to be enrolled and active in PNM, and plans reject claims from providers who aren't, or who lack a group affiliation on the date of service. Qualigenix files the PNM application, sets each affiliation and confirms active status before the provider sees Medicaid patients.
State credentialing doesn't create a network contract. Each provider still contracts with the plans the practice chooses among AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio, Anthem, Buckeye, CareSource, Humana Healthy Horizons, Molina and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Practices seeing dual-eligible adults also need Next Generation MyCare contracts with Anthem, CareSource, Molina or Buckeye, and providers enrolled in Medicare must enroll in Ohio Medicaid too to be paid for those patients. Behavioral health groups serving OhioRISE youth contract with Aetna Better Health of Ohio.
Revalidation cycles, licensing and CAQH requirements apply across Ohio, covered in Ohio provider enrollment and credentialing rules. Since October 6, 2026, Ohio Medicaid can suspend a provider agreement after one year with no claims and asks many provider types to resubmit credentialing data more often. We track both dates for every provider.
These are company-wide figures across Qualigenix credentialing clients, not Cincinnati-only results.

Qualigenix sets up credentialing for a Cincinnati practice in five steps.
We gather licenses, DEA, board certifications, malpractice history and work history for each provider.
Each credential is verified at the source to NCQA and CMS standards, including the State Medical Board of Ohio.
CAQH ProView profiles are built or cleaned up, and PNM enrollment and affiliations are filed with Ohio Medicaid.
Applications go to CGS through PECOS, the Hamilton County plans you choose and your commercial carriers.
Each application is tracked until the payer decides, and you get status by payer at every stage.
Independent clinics and specialty practices in Cincinnati trust Qualigenix for dedicated claim support.
You pay $99 per payer application, covering full provider credentialing and payer enrollment. A provider joining five payers costs five applications, with no retainer on top.
Each account gets one credentialing specialist who knows your providers, your Ohio Medicaid file and your plan contracts. You always know who to call about an application.
You see where each application stands with each payer, from submission to decision. No more guessing whether CareSource or Anthem has what it needs.
Qualigenix also runs billing, so enrollment dates, PNM affiliations and payer records line up with the claims we send. Enrollment gaps get caught before they turn into denials.
