Qualigenix starts every Bronx credentialing job with New York Medicaid, because the state requires it first. Per the New York State Department of Health, any provider who treats, orders, prescribes, refers or attends for a Medicaid member must be enrolled in Medicaid, even if the provider only sees managed care members. Bronx County had 844,529 residents on Medicaid in June 2026. Statewide licensing and enrollment rules are on our credentialing services in New York page. This page covers the Bronx: the plan networks you'll join, the revalidation wave now under way, and the Medicare and commercial steps.
Qualigenix's credentialing services cover group and individual credentialing, New York Medicaid enrollment and revalidation, Medicare enrollment through PECOS, CAQH profile management, demographic updates, new locations, re-credentialing and follow-up on pending applications.
Each payer application costs $99. Payers make the final decision on every application; Qualigenix prepares, submits, tracks and follows up until there's an answer.
Qualigenix handles two layers for Bronx providers: enrollment with New York Medicaid itself, then network credentialing with each Bronx Medicaid plan. A gap in the first layer blocks the second.
New York now runs all Medicaid enrollment and revalidation through the Provider Services Portal; paper filing ended in May 2026. In April 2026, CMS directed states to revalidate every Medicaid-enrolled provider within 24 months, and New York is sending notices in phases through June 2028. A provider has 123 calendar days from the first notice to finish, or enrollment ends. Qualigenix watches for your notices and files each revalidation well inside that window.
The seven mainstream Bronx Medicaid issuers in 2026 are Affinity by Molina Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield HealthPlus, EmblemHealth, Fidelis Care, Healthfirst, MetroPlus Health Plan and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. New York's managed care law gives these plans 60 days from a complete application to say whether a provider is credentialed. A newly licensed or newly relocated provider joining a participating group can be provisionally credentialed if the plan misses that window. Qualigenix tracks each application against the 60-day mark.
License checks run through the New York State Education Department's Office of the Professions, where physicians re-register every two years. The rest is on our New York credentialing rules page.
Qualigenix measures credentialing work the same way for every client. The figures below are company-wide results, not Bronx-only results, and payers make every final decision.

Qualigenix starts credentialing for a Bronx practice in six steps.
We collect licenses, board certifications, DEA, malpractice, work history and NPI details for each provider in one secure intake.
Each credential is verified at its source, including the Office of the Professions for New York licenses, to NCQA and CMS standards.
We build or clean up each CAQH ProView profile, attach documents, and set the 90-day re-attestation schedule.
Applications go to eMedNY, each Bronx Medicaid plan, Medicare through PECOS and your commercial payers, with the right effective dates.
We follow up weekly or biweekly, answer every request, and review participation agreements as they arrive.
You get status for every provider and payer, including approvals, effective dates and the next revalidation date.
Independent clinics and specialty practices in Bronx trust Qualigenix for dedicated claim support.
Each payer application costs $99, covering full provider credentialing and payer enrollment. You know the cost of adding a provider to the Bronx plans before work begins.
Each Bronx account gets one credentialing specialist who knows your providers, your payers and your open applications. You don't repeat your history to a new person each month.
You see the status of every application with every payer, from eMedNY to each Bronx plan. No application sits unanswered without you knowing why.
Qualigenix also bills, so enrollment dates and claims line up. A provider's first Bronx claims go out under the right effective date instead of denying for enrollment.
